If you're a long-time follower of mine on DeviantART you may notice how I haven't been active for the past three years. Life shifted gears for me in several ways: I graduated from the University of the Arts with my BFA in Graphic Design, and now I'm in the process of finding a new place to live (or a way to justify staying where I am.) I built my web site (www.johnbaccile.com) and am working on getting it linked to my print store here. I've also began entering more online art contests in hopes that some of the exposure I receive might just spill out into the "real" world and relieve me of my current night job (loading trucks for UPS.) Ever since the 1970's, mysterious plaques have been appearing in the asphalt streets of major cities all over North America. They read: TOYNBEE IDEA IN KubricK's '2001 RESURRECT DEAD ON PLANET JUPiTER :thumb137916510: :thumb110511968: I'll be having a solo photography exhibit at the Bonte's Wafflerie on 17th and Sansom Streets in Philadelphia. Pictures should be going up around Feb.12 and be there for a month or so.
